About Me

Overview

My name is Terence Honles, and I am currently studying for my first degree at the University of California: Los Angeles. At the moment I am pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science. With this degree I plan to join a successful company, help continue to innovate, and make improvements on the way that company functions. In the slightly further future you should expect to see me running my own successful startup. What I will pursue with this startup has not been determined, but do expect something which will change the way people live their lives. Something which will effect you whether you realize it or not.

Education

As mentioned earlier, I am studying for my B.S. in Computer Science at UCLA. Currently I am in my fourth year of study, and I project to graduate in June 2010. At the moment I am studying abroad at the University of Monash: Clayton, in Australia. As a result of going abroad I will most likely be extending my stay at UCLA for another year. Since I had saved many of my general electives for last, I was able to take them abroad. However, in the school of engineering, they want our last 36 units to be at UCLA, so in order to graduate any earlier than June 2010 I would have to petition UCLA to waive the requirement.

Family and Background

I come from a family of four children and two parents. Of the four I am the eldest child, and as a result I have always been given more responsibilities. In addition, being the oldest, I have learned to be very independent. This was in part due to the strong work ethics and self motivation my parents taught me at a young age. These traits along with a very mentor oriented viewpoint, which came as a result of having to teach my younger siblings, make me the person I am today.
